Week of January 7th Menu

* This has been pretty sporadic but know that Im still cooking it just takes lots of time to post the recipes. BUT PLEASE still feel free to email me new recipes. I always love getting them.
so glad to see Lisa and her sweet husband tried some new ones..

Monday - Chicken Orzo & Spinach Soup with warm sheephherders bread. A little time consuming probably an hour start to finish, but really delish!

Tuesady - Shrimp in Love Fast and Few Ingredients

Wednesday - Pork and Fries Bake - kraft foods, new recipe

Thursday - appetizer pesto squares, Stuffed Chicken & Spinach, salad, green beans, and bread, with the berry cobbler for dessert We have friends over to eat about once or twice a week, this week its on Thursday.. :)

Friday - Spaghetti .. after all this, this is still a hubs favorite... sorry no recipe everyone does theres there own way, and well truth be told, mother in law makes huge batches of sauce to fill all her boys freezers!

Saturday - Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup - this is experimental.. but hopefully will be sharing soon.

Sunday - Lime Shrimp Tacos with spanish rice and chips and salsa - my current constant craving, fast and easy.

July 21st Meal Plan

There will be 6 meals total. One night is for out, or leftovers.

1. Mexican Lasagna - A little more time consuming but still simple, a heartier meal!
bake 2 extra chicken breasts and shred for Meal #3, and refrigerate.
SIDES- Mexican Rice & garden salad.

2.Shrimp Florentine - Quick & Easy
If your a small family you can get by with about a pound a half of shrimp for both this meal
and Jumbalya
SIDES- Garlic Bread & SPinach Salad

3. Chicken Pot Pie - QUICK & Easy!
Use the chicken you already baked and shredded from Mexican Lasagna

4. Jumbalya - Quick & Easy
use the leftover shrimp from the shrimp florentine

5. Chef Salad - Lighter Meal
SIDES- good good croissants, or rolls

6. Bruschetta Minute Steaks- Warm & Filling about 30 minutes hands on.
SIDES- steamed green beans
